Now that I approach this series with the proper attitude I can't get enough :) There were a couple of things that irritated/irked me with this installment. The obvious is of course the separation of Lady and Lord Maccon ... though Professor Lyall's attempts to wrangle his alpha made up for that a little. The second complaint is more of the nerdy persuasion. That a supposedly brilliant scientist kept referring to a hypothesis as a theory and that no one (not even the scientifically minded Lady Maccon) corrected him! Such an error would make the ears of any scientist worth his/her salt bleed.
