Cry Wolf (Alpha and Omega, Book 1)
I like Patricia Briggs writing style and world so it's no surprise that this one gets 4 stars. My only complaint is the number of POV's ... I would have been happier if we stayed solely with the leads instead.I enjoyed the unraveling of the mystery and the resolution. The story was front loaded with emo stuff but it worked for me. Some people have complained that the story starts almost immediately after some serious off-stage action (covered in the Alpha & Omega Novella) and the reader feels lost. I personally enjoyed not knowing exactly what happened and how the leads actually met so wasn't bothered. But I will recommend reading the novella for those who want all the gritty details.
