Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, Book 1)
I like the bones of urban-fantasy but what I'm finding in most of these books is a lack of the rest of it (skin, sinew, muscle, etc..). I want a feast and what I get is barely passable for appetizer. This isn't bad ... it's decently written with well enough drawn characters with a passable plot ... sadly for me it just isn't good enough :(
