Anya's Books

This book describes an interesting world with appealing characters thrust into satisfyingly confusing situations. It's not as much of a mystery as I like though the suspense factor is high enough to compensate.

My major complaint is the unevenness of the book. The beginning is all confusion, mutual distrust and misunderstanding. Right about the middle of the story we go into hump mode and it's sex, sex and then a bit more sex. And then the book wraps up with a good violent bit. So all the components for a satisfying urban-fantasy/romance book are there though not as well balanced through-out as I would prefer.
