Good Prose: The Art of Nonfiction

Good Prose: The Art of Nonfiction - Tracy Kidder, Richard Todd There's a lot of good and interesting information in this book given in a warm manner that I found surprisingly comforting.
I've read and heard many interviews with writers on the subject of writing and most of their comments can be summed up by Hemingway's quote “There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
This book doesn't shy away from this sentiment but it doesn't wallow in it either. The writers cover tips, tricks and pitfalls of various forms of nonfiction writing with many examples. They also touch on the business of the writing business as well as an excellent section on editing.
This book will be added to my physical bookshelf.
